| The Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA) unveiled its new 2017 Advertising/Marketing Campaign during its annual Sales and Marketing Presentation on March 22 at the Wildwoods Convention Center.|
The Wildwoods’ new campaign tagline, ‘As Wild As You Want To Be!’ will be incorporated in all marketing initiatives including the Wildwoods’ website, TV commercials, advertisement messaging and marketing plan. GWTIDA partnered with its new advertising agency of record, FUSEIDEAS of Boston, MA to execute the campaign.
“As we move forward from another banner season in 2016, we wanted to take our creative in a fresh direction,” said John Siciliano, GWTIDA’s executive director/CFO. “After much deliberation, we selected FUSEIDEAS to help bring this new vision to life,” he added.
The campaign’s focus is to position the Wildwoods as the ultimate travel destination with something for everyone – whether your ideal vacation experience is ‘Wild’ or ‘Mild’, or whether you prefer ‘Lazy or Crazy,’ ‘Thrilling’ or ‘Chilling.’ Whatever you want in a vacation experience, you can have it all on just one 5-mile island. The new campaign is designed to convey the strong emotional connection and feeling that visitors have for the Wildwoods, as well as the endless opportunities the Wildwoods offer you to enjoy your vacation here, your way.
“We think that all of our Wildwoods fans are going to identify with the new 2017 creative,” said Ben Rose, GWTIDA’s Marketing and PR Director. “It truly speaks to everyone – from millennials to mutigenerational vacationers to families,” he added.
