World-class entertainment in the Wildwoods is a tradition that dates back to the Big Band era when names like Dorsey (Jimmy and Tommy) and Guy Lombardo were common atop the resort's marquees. The area's Irish pubs and taverns have amazingly captured the same ambiance one would expect to find in County Cork, Ireland, complete with Irish folk songs and a full menu of imported ales and beers. For more high-energy evenings, dance floors fill quickly in many of the nightclubs that cater to the 21- to 40-year-old set as disc jockeys spin the latest dance hits for those who can't sit still.
