The schedule includes annual traditions like the Beach Jam for scouts and the Educational Extravaganza for kids and teachers, new entries such as Girl Scout Day, Beach Ball Dance Expo and More Beach Blast. The two day Coastin' by the Ocean will attract coaster enthusiasts, and Monday concerts with Radio Disney artists appeals to the tweens and teens. So mark your calendar and enjoy the ride: April 12 Easter: Mariner's Landing Pier Opening day celebration boasts fun for the kid in all of us including rides, food, entertainment and even Easter eggs for the little ones. May 10 Mother's Day: Mariner's and Surfside Piers Celebrate Mother's Day with the entire family. Mom gets some extra TLC. May 15-17 The 14th Annual Spring Beach Jam: All three piers The ultimate camping experience for scouts. May 28-29 The 15th Annual Education Extravaganza: Mariner's Landing Learning becomes a "day at the beach" when students in grades three through twelve enjoy hands-on learning and interactive participation utilizing the beach and amusements. May 30 Girl Scout Council of Southern New Jersey: All three piers, Raging Waters. This is a special day designed exclusively for our local Girl Scout council. June 5 Class Trip Day: Mariner's Landing, Raging Waters Schools from all over the state visit for a class trip. June 6 Beach Bop: All three piers plus Raging Waters A version of the Beach Jam for the youngest scouts, with an added splash of fun. June 20 The 11th Annual ALS Express Bike Ride: All three piers and both waterparks. This fundraiser helps fight against Lou Gehrig's Disease. Visit www.als-express.org for more information. June 20 The 15th Annual Plunge for Patients: All three piers and both waterparks. An after party for a benefit to aid cancer patients of the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. But participants get wristbands for and have a banquet at Ocean Oasis on Friday night. June 26-28 Cape Express Beach Blast Soccer Tournament: All piers and waterparks Youth and adult soccer teams from all over the East Coast compete in a barefoot soccer tournament in the sand. July 16-18 A Closer Walk - Christian Youth Weekend: All piers and both waterparks. Youth groups and families are invited to a weekend of camping on the beach, live Christian music and worship services. August 9 Rubber Ducky Regatta: Raging Waters on Mariner's Landing An annual benefit for the Cape May County United Way. Watch hundreds of little yellow ducks race for great prizes. August 23 Lighthouse Church Service: The beach at the end of Mariner's Landing A service on the beach with a beachside breakfast. August 29-30 Cape Express MORE Beach Blast Soccer: All piers and both waterparks. A repeat of the barefoot soccer tournament in the sand. September 26-27 The 12th Annual Fall Beach Jam: Mariner's Landing A fall version of the camping experience for scouts.
