The Wildwoods, NJ - June 10, 2009 - FREE Beaches, FREE Fireworks, FREE Events and Festivals...and now - FREE Live Music and Entertainment almost every day of the week! With FREE things to do everyday throughout the summer, the Wildwoods are one of the Jersey shore's top value family vacation destinations this season. Focusing on value in a tough economic climate, the Wildwoods marketing campaign asks vacationers a simple question, "Are you FREE this summer? The Wildwoods are!" And the Wildwoods sure are, as in a FREE 2.5 mile boardwalk to stroll along, FREE award winning beaches, FREE fireworks on Fridays, FREE events and festivals - and now, FREE live music almost every day of the week throughout the summer! Check out the North Wildwood Lou Booth Amphitheatre, Fox Park Amphitheatre, Gazebo-by-the-Sea, Outdoor Deck of Crest Pier Recreation Center, Sunset Lake and Morey's Mariners Landing Pier for some of the most entertaining FREE live entertainment you'll find this summer. The Fox Park Amphitheatre is located on Ocean and Burke Avenues, across from the Wildwoods Convention Center, in Wildwood. The Outdoor Deck of the Crest Pier Recreation Center, located at 5800 Ocean Avenue at Heather Road in Wildwood Crest, will have music-goers dancing to hit music from the '50s through the '90s every Monday starting June 29. All shows are FREE and start at 7:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, they will be held indoors at the Crest Pier Recreation Center. Following each performance, guests are invited to a FREE meet and greet with the Radio Disney artists, who are sure to have the crowds on their feet. Starting on July 31 until September 4, Friday nights at Sunset Lake, located at Miami Road and New Jersey Avenue in Wildwood Crest, will be jamming with live music beginning at 7 p.m. While the performance schedule is still in the planning stages, the two acts that are scheduled to date are sure to have the crowd jumping, including R.A.D.A.R. 5 on Friday, August 14 and the John Walter Community Band on Friday, August 28. In addition to FREE live music throughout the week, three FREE special Fourth of July concerts will be held Saturday, July 4 in the Wildwoods.
