| Sports Card, Comic Book, and Toy Expo Returns to the Wildwoods Convention Center | ||
| Special appearances by four former New York Yankees, including Fritz Peterson with his new book release! Wildwood, NJ- RK Sports Promotions presents the Sports Card, Comic Book, and Toy Expo at the Wildwoods Convention Center for the second time this summer. The expo will take place on Friday, August 28 through Sunday, August 30, 2009. There will be over 100 tables of the hottest collectibles, featuring old and new sports cards, toys, comic books, starting line-ups, McFarlane figures, non-sports cards, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, Beanie Babies, wax boxes, autographed memorabilia, sets, posters, coins, trains, t-shirts, supplies, and much more! Special autograph guests will include Ron Blomberg, Elliott Maddox, Fritz Peterson, and John Montefusco of the 1970's New York Yankees. All guests will be appearing Saturday from 1-3 p.m. Fritz Peterson's long awaited book, "Mickey Mantle is Going to Heaven," will be available for purchase and autographing. The book entails his playing days and his relationship with the New York media and fellow players. It also includes a chapter about his favorite player, Babe Ruth. Admission to the expo is FREE!
