Tourism Destination Website

WildwoodsNJ.com updated with colorful images, icons and enhanced features -
It's pure sensory overload - just like the Wildwoods!

The Wildwoods, NJ - August 17, 2009 - The Wildwoods have launched a newly re-designed tourism destination website incorporating the resort's vibrant new marketing creative and many enhanced visitor features.

The new website, www.WildwoodsNJ.com, offers an improved interface and updated animated experience - reflecting the flavor, fun and appeal of the Wildwoods' 2009 marketing campaign. Utilizing vibrant colors, eye-catching graphics and flash animation, the Wildwoods fresh online presence is a perfect personification of the overall Wildwoods experience - pure sensory overload! It is chock-full of new features and even more user-friendly updates, making it a most unique web experience for visitors.

"The website is designed to be much more than an online brochure - it's an all-inclusive online information resource for The Wildwoods. We wanted to give visitors a virtual idea of what the Wildwoods experience is really like, so we made the colors brighter, the visuals more fun and entertaining, and the overall website experience more hip and cool," says Ben Rose, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority.

In addition to its new and improved cosmetic changes, the redesigned Wildwoods website streamlines navigation and utilizes a wide variety of web tools and features, making the site more user-friendly when browsing - and also more fun!

Some of these new tools and features include:

- An updated interface that is intuitive and eye-catching
- Reorganized navigation that uses illustrations to clearly depict the wide selection of sections to which visitors can go;
- New, graphically appealing homepage buttons to the most popular areas of the website;
- A mini flash photo gallery on most web pages displaying beautiful pictures specific to the section the viewer is in to visually enhance their visitor experience;
- Updated copy throughout the entire Wildwoods website to fully emphasize the never-ending activities, attractions and amenities offered throughout the Wildwoods' three municipalities - Wildwood, North Wildwood and Wildwood Crest.

The Wildwoods original website was launched in 2005 with highly successful organic search engine positioning in all of the most popular search engine sites. Copy for the newly launched site focused on maintaining this search engine success.

Website visitors will find a wide array of information on hotel, motel and Bed & Breakfast accommodations, dining, FREE beaches, entertainment, nightlife, amusements, boardwalk, shops, attractions and more.

"We have, on average, more than 100,000 unique visitors to our website monthly, and we hope the new redesign will draw even more visitors to our website and to our fabulous destination," Rose said.

Suasion Communications Group/Smith O'Keefe of Egg Harbor Township, NJ completed the original website and the new redesign project.
