The Largest Motorcycle Rally in the Northeast Comes to the Wildwoods

The Wildwoods, NJ - The 14th Annual Roar to the Shore Motorcycle Rally roars into the Wildwoods September 10 through the 13th with the largest, most exciting Motorcycle Rally in the northeast. An impressive tens of thousands of bikes are expected for this one-of-a-kind rally that appeals to everyone, both riders and motorcycle enthusiasts alike. The event's official sponsors, Cape Classics Motorcycle Club, Budweiser, Jack Daniels, Rider Insurance, Lucas Oil, DeSimone Motorsport, the Wildwood Harley Davidson Dealership, the Wildwoods Tourism Authority and Stark & Stark Attorneys at Law are planning an event that will be filled with non-stop excitement from start to finish.

Vendor areas, containing hundreds of top of the line merchants, will open daily at 9am. If you're looking for pin stripping for your bike, souvenirs to take home, new leather, eye protection or even a fine cigar, you'll be able to find what you're looking for in the five separate vending areas located at the Wildwoods Convention Center Lots and all along Oak and Atlantic Avenues in downtown Wildwood. A few new additions to the vending areas will be Demo Rides on the Yamaha Cruiser Models from Yamaha Motor Corp as well as the 3 wheeled Can-Am Spyder Roadsters, professional oil changes administered by a member of the Lucas Oil Crew, a display from DeSimone Motorsport showing off their top of the line BMW, Ducati, Victory and Triumph motorcycles and also award-winning artist Steve Soffa - mastermind behind his top of the line timepiece company, Hardcore Watches. Along with the vendors, there will be live bands rotating between two stages, one at the Wildwoods Convention Center Lot and the other located at the Main Vending Area on Oak Avenue. Also scheduled to perform at the Wildwoods Convention Center Lots are gravity defying feats from several motorcycle stunt shows that will keep you in the edge of your seats.

Save some time for the daily events happening throughout the island. Friday September 11th: motorcycles will gather at the Bolero, located at the corner of Oak and Atlantic Avenues, for a guided tour up the Parkway to Kindle Ford for a traditional Pig Roast. Saturday September 12th: the day starts off at 11 am with the start of the FREE Walking Poker Run. Contestants will venture to participating bars in Wildwood to collect playing cards in the hopes of creating the best hand of Poker by the end of the Run. A $1000 cash prize will be awarded to the best card shark. The Annual Biker Babe Contest will be held immediately following the Poker Run, also with a $1000 cash prize on the line, along with bragging rights for the year. To tie up the weekend, on Sunday September 13th: the 3rd Annual Rubber Duck Boardwalk Ride will take place at 12:30 pm. Riders will be able to purchase tickets throughout the weekend to participate in the ride as well as automatically being entered in a drawing to win a Harley Davidson Street Bob and an official Budweiser Mini Chopper. All proceeds of the ride go to benefit the United Way of Cape May County. The drawing for the bikes will be held at the Wildwoods Convention Center immediately following the ride.
