The Wildwoods 2nd Annual Family Holiday Celebration
December 4 & 5


Wildwoods, NJ - Start a family tradition with an exciting FREE holiday weekend celebration at the Wildwoods Convention Center! Kick off the festive holiday season with the second annual Wildwoods Family Holiday Celebration, on Friday, December 4th and Saturday, December 5th!

The celebration starts with the Greater Wildwood Jaycees Christmas Parade on Friday, December 5th at 7:00 p.m. So bring your blanket and some hot coco as the parade steps off from 16th Avenue in North Wildwood and heads south along Central and Pacific Avenues through the Holly Beach Station Mall to Heather Road in Wildwood Crest, then proceeds left onto Ocean Avenue, as the parade makes its way north ending at the Wildwoods Convention Center for the traditional tree-lighting ceremony. Afterwards, make your way inside the Convention Center for some holiday warmth, as the Wildwoods Convention Center hosts an evening of family fun!

On Friday, December 4th the line-up and registration for the parade takes place from 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. and will be held at the North Wildwood Recreation Center at 10th and Central Avenues. There is no fee to submit an entry for the parade. Trophies will be awarded later in the evening at the parade awards ceremony inside the Wildwoods Convention Center for the following divisions: Community Service, Commercial, Marching Bands and Public Service. The rain date for the Christmas Parade is scheduled for Sunday, December 6th. Should the parade be postponed due to rain, the start time of the parade will be an hour earlier at 6:00pm. Immediately following the parade the fun continues at the Wildwoods Convention Center with a tree lighting ceremony. A Shopping Bazaar begins at 6:30 p.m. which features holiday-themed crafters offering unique, one-of-a-kind gift items. After the tree lighting ceremony come inside and warm up with some FREE hot chocolate and cookies! Then at 8:00 p.m. don't miss the parade's awards ceremony.

On Saturday, December 5th the FREE holiday celebration continues from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a day filled with shopping, crafts, face painting, local children's choruses and band performances, martial arts performances, gymnastics & cheer performances, a magician, free holiday movies with FREE popcorn provided and SANTA! The exciting and fun-filled entertainment schedule is as follows:
