Wildwood Beach, NJ – September 30, 2022 – The Northeast’s largest outdoor country music fest, in conjunction with Southern Entertainment, announces Darius Rucker as the second headlining artist of the third annual Barefoot Country Music Fest, June 15-18, 2023, joining fellow country superstar Blake Shelton.
South Carolina native Darius Rucker is an American country music singer, songwriter, and philanthropist. With more than 15 awards and nominations since his debut in 1986, Rucker has become a highly accredited artist within the music industry. He initially gained recognition as the lead vocalist of the rock band, Hootie and the Blowfish, before releasing his first country solo single in 2008. His success has warranted both regional and national recognition. The Barefoot Country Music Fest is honored to host Grammy Award-winning artist, Darius Rucker, on the shores of Wildwood in June of 2023.
