NJ OK’s Reopening Amusement and Water Parks

New Jersey amusement and water parks can reopen on July 2, Gov. Phil Murphy announced Tuesday as he continues to ease restrictions put in place to combat spread of the coronavirus.

The parks must limit attendance to 50% of their capacity, and park goers and staff must wear face masks. Workers must also sanitize rides frequently.

More detailed guidance has yet to be announced, but Murphy did say riders must be seated so that they are 6 feet apart from other those outside of their group, and that the parks should place markers on the ground to remind people to stand 6 feet apart.

Stay tuned for more details.
