The Wildwoods, N.J. (June 17, 2026) – The highly anticipated Wildwoods Air Show will return to the Wildwoods September 12-13, marking a high point in the resort’s packed schedule of year-round events, and finishing off a season of patriotic events celebrating America’s 250th birthday.
The air show is returning for its second year in 2026 with a thrilling lineup of performers and a weekend filled with events.
Spectators will be able to enjoy the show across the entire island, with the beach and boardwalk areas showcasing optimal viewing areas. The center of the event at the Lincoln Avenue beach will take place above the ocean between Morey’s Mariner’s Pier and Adventure Pier.
Taking place over the Wildwoods award-winning beaches and boardwalk, the air show is a flagship event for the Wildwoods, bringing thousands of spectators, talented aerial performers, sponsors, and the local community together for an unforgettable weekend filled with thrilling performances and family-friendly events.
A mix of military and civilian performers will be announced in the near term as the show lineup is finalized.
The Wildwoods beautiful FREE beaches, home to the Wildwoods Air Show, were recently named the Best Beach in New Jersey in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards contest 2026. This is the third consecutive year that the Wildwoods’ Beaches have been ranked #1 in New Jersey in the contest.
The Wildwoods’ Boardwalk was also voted the 2026 #1 Best Boardwalk in the U.S. in a recent USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards contest for the second consecutive year, further solidifying the resort as a premier beach destination. Throughout the weekend, numerous events will be taking place throughout the Wildwoods, offering visitors a lineup of exciting activities as they enjoy the air show, September 12-13. Events during the weekend include the FREE Wildwoods Food and Music Festival in Byrne Plaza, which serves as the air show’s unofficial afterparty, as well as New Year’s in North Wildwood September 11-12, and Roots Classic Volkswagen Car Show on September 11-13, in addition to the PigDog Puppa Palooza, and Greg DiAntonio Reggae Fest on September 13.
On Friday, September 11, there will also be several 9/11 memorial services, including the North Wildwood September 11th Commemoration, Wildwood Crest 9/11 Memorial Service, and Downtown Wildwood 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony. In addition to these events, the 2026 Wildwoods Air Show will feature a commemoration dedicated to the victims of 9/11 in observance the 25th anniversary.
