ABOUT US
As the umbrella marketing organization of the Wildwoods, GWTIDA advertises and promotes the island as a family vacation destination acting as the island’s destination management organization overseeing product development, research and planning, marketing, advertising, promotions, and public relations. GWTIDA also serves as the operations and marketing arm of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority (NJSEA), the owner of the Wildwoods Convention Center.

The Board of Directors of the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA) meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Wildwoods Convention Center. All Board Activity documents including Board Meeting Schedules, Resolutions and Minutes are available for viewing and downloading here.
The Board of Directors of the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority are appointed by the Mayors of each of the three tourism districts of the Wildwoods in addition to one appointment from the State of New Jersey. Each mayor appoints two business representatives and one resident appointment from their district.
