Wildwoods Irish FallFestival

Fall in Love with the Wildwoods, NJ this Autumn

The fun in the Wildwoods continues into the fall with late-season beach days, less crowds, lower rates, and continuous fall events

Wildwoods, NJ – August 19, 2024 – As the summer winds down, the Wildwoods refuse to let the fun fade away by eagerly welcoming the highly anticipated ‘Wildwoods Second Season’ after Labor Day and beyond.

This island resort serves as the perfect vacation spot starting in September, with idyllic weather, thinner crowds, serene beaches, an exciting Boardwalk, affordable rates for hotels and motels, excellent dining options, and a variety of unique fall activities, events, and festivals.

As summer winds down, visitors have the opportunity to truly ‘fall’ in love with the Wildwoods. The spectacular weather is perfect for days on the spacious and award-winning beaches, where you can relax and unwind without the crowds. Also enjoy a leisurely stroll on the world-famous Boardwalk, with the chance to savor the salt air, unique shops, food, and fun activities. In addition, dining at local restaurants becomes even more enjoyable with shorter wait times.

In the Wildwoods, there are a host of distinctive restaurants and eateries, wineries, breweries, and distilleries that stay open well into the fall season, showcasing flavors from the region. During the fall, these iconic landmarks embrace the change of season by offering delicious and unique autumnal creations. Imagine sipping on a seasonal brew by the water while savoring the day’s fresh catch in the salty autumn air.

Take advantage of the Wildwoods’ ‘Bikeability’ during the fall – one of the best times to traverse the destination on two wheels. Bike riding is a popular pastime at the Jersey Shore, and no town seems to do biking better than the Wildwoods. Enjoy a mild ocean breeze while gazing at the beautiful sights on the 12-mile, round-trip bike path. This one-of-a-kind route stretches from Diamond Beach at the far southern tip of the island and continues onto the Wildwood Crest Dunes Bike Path, up onto the Wildwoods Boardwalk to North Wildwood’s Mulberry Bike Path, to the North Wildwood Sea Wall.

Fall in the Wildwoods also means signature events and exciting festivals that draw hundreds of thousands of visitors well after the summer season. Visitors enjoy the weather as they savor fall flavors, create priceless, fun-filled memories with loved ones, and enjoy the serenity of a fall escape.
