The Wildwoods Convention Center opened in April, 2003 with expectations of boosting the economy of the Wildwoods and helping to extend our season from the traditional May through Labor Day to a more year-round economy and to date, the Convention Center has more than accomplished that goal. This year the Convention Center Sales team has report that we’re on pace to reach 110 group bookings this year generating 1,450 individual events in the building. Those events will generate over 188,236 attendees accounting for 133,000 room nights booked. The staff has booked 45 out of the 52 weekends this year. This is a testament to not only the Convention Center sales team but also the operations staff and food & beverage team for providing outstanding service to our guests and attendees alike that keep these groups returning year after year. We look forward to improving on that performance in 2025 by introducing new events and groups.
