The Wildwoods, NJ – December 13, 2024 – 2024 marks the 14th year that The Lynch Who Stole Christmas from the GrYnch Toy Drive will be bringing the spirit of the season to over 900 local kids in the Wildwoods and nearby communities.
The cause, founded by Wildwoods Convention Center’s Authority Director of Sales and Entertainment John Lynch, benefits the community directly. “Rest assured that every toy, and every donation stays in the Wildwoods and the southern tip of Cape May County,” Lynch explained.
Since inception, the Lynch/GrYnch Team has collected and delivered thousands of wrapped toys to over 11,000 children on Christmas Eve. This year, a variety of events will take place to raise money and toy donations for the foundation’s efforts in providing a helping hand to deserving families in the Cape May County Community. We invite everyone to experience these fun events and support the effort to make area children’s Christmas a merry and bright one.
December 14 – Pinch the GrYnch Boardwalk 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk
Join the Lunch with Lynch Foundation and the Wildwood Police Department as they take on the GrYnch with their annual ‘Pinch the GrYnch’ Boardwalk Run and Mile Walk held on Saturday, December 14. The race begins at 10 a.m. in front of the Wildwoods Convention Center and will take place rain or shine. Participants are encouraged to dress in festive holiday outfits. All proceeds from this event will benefit the ‘Lynch Who Stole Christmas from the GrYnch’ Toy, Coat, and Food Card Drive. The race will start on the Boardwalk, directly in front of the Wildwoods Convention Center, 4501 Boardwalk, Wildwood, NJ. Participants are asked to register online for the race at www.LynchToyDrive.com/pinch. The Run requires a $30 registration fee or $20 with the donation of a toy at the event. The 5k race route will take place on the boardwalk and on Ocean Avenue, due to the boardwalk construction between the Montgomery and Spicer Avenue section.
December 15 – Breakfast with the GrYnch

December 15 & 22 – The Mudhen Shopping Village
Donate new unwrapped toys to the Lynch Who Stole Christmas from the GrYnch donation box and receive a FREE MudHen Beer Token during the Mudhen Shopping Village on December 15 and 22 at MudHen Brewing Company located on 127 W Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood. Donate and join the festivities from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with over 20 local vendors, FREE face painting, food, and more.
December 16 – Snow Flake Wall at The Fire House Tavern
Purchase a snow flake now through December 16 at The Fire House Tavern located on at 3116 Park Blvd in Wildwood, and get your name displayed on the wall. New unwrapped toy donations are also accepted at this location.
December 18 – John Lynch as Guest Bartender Mulligan’s Sports Bar
John Lynch will guest bar tend at Mulligan’s Sports Bar located on 310 W Hildreth Avenue in Wildwood on Saturday, December 18 from 6-8 p.m. All tips collected during time will be used to purchase toys for the Lynch Who Stole Christmas from the GrYnch Toy Drive. New unwrapped toy donations are also accepted at this location.
December 20 – Domino’s Pizza Santa Clause Raiser
Wildwood Domino’s Pizza located on 4800 New Jersey Avenue in Wildwood will donate one free pizza gift certificate per order placed to the Lynch Who Stole Christmas Toy Drive on December 20.
