The Wildwoods, NJ – April 25, 2025 – Excitement continues to grow for the upcoming Thunder Over the Waves Airshow in the Wildwoods, NJ, taking place on September 5 & 6, with seven additional new sponsors announced this week. The four-hour airshow will feature more than 11 exhilarating headlining acts soaring over the Wildwoods’ scenic shoreline.
The Greater Wildwoods Tourism, Improvement, and Development Authority (GWTIDA) announced that Morey’s Hospitality, Daytona Inn & Suites, Attache Oceanfront Resort, Bolero Resort & Conference Center, J. Byrne Insurance Agency, Adventurer Oceanfront Inn, and New Jersey Lottery have been added to the growing roster of sponsors, and join sponsors GWTIDA, South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA), The Greater Wildwood Hotel-Motel Association, The Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA), Madison Resorts, Forge Apollo Agency, along with support from the Cape May County Department of Tourism.

The 2025 airshow will feature military flyovers from Dover Airbase, the New Jersey Air National Guard’s 177th Fighter Squadron, and Joint Base McGuire, Ft. Dix and Lakehurst. Top-tier performers, including Fighter Jets Inc.’s MIG-17PF, the NJ Air National Guard’s F-16C Fighting Falcon, and the U.S. Army’s Golden Knights Parachute Team. Plus, other high-flying Jet Teams, Aerobatic Teams, Stunt Teams, and more.
