The first 2025 winner of the FREE vacation to the Wildwoods has been selected, with another winner to be announced in the fall
The Wildwoods, NJ – June 6, 2025 – The Wildwoods offer everything visitors could ever want in a vacation experience, all on one 5-mile island. Since 2014, the Wildwoods have offered visitors the chance to win a FREE Wildwoods vacation of a lifetime. The first winner of the 2025 Free Vacation Getaway Contest has been announced, with the second contest winner of the 2025 Wildwoods Vacation Getaway Contest still up for grabs.
The winner of the first 2025 Vacation Getaway Contest drawing is Dan Gonnella of Jackson, NJ. With a second drawing slated for October 24, 2025, fans of the Wildwoods still have a chance to win an unforgettable FREE vacation.
Dan will receive a 4-day/3-night stay for up to four people at a participating Wildwoods hotel-motel of his choice, plus Morey’s Piers Amusement/Waterpark Passes, Splash Zone Waterpark Passes, Boardwalk Tram Car Passes, A gift card to Trio – An American Gastro Eatery , Bike or Surrey Rentals from Surf Bike Rental or Ocean Cycles , Dragon’s Lair Blacklight Mini Golf Passes, parking passes for four days at the Wildwoods Convention Center Parking Lot, and more. With all amenities included, the total giveaway package is worth over $2,000.
Since its inception in 2014, 23 lucky winners have been given the prize of a FREE vacation to the Wildwoods. The contest has had nearly 500,000 people enter including over 85,000 entries for the spring 2025 drawing. The contest is a part of the Wildwoods’ ongoing tourism campaign and is intended to draw attention to the Wildwoods and its attractions, including the FREE white-sand beaches, three amusement piers and waterparks, watersports, the world-famous Boardwalk, great dining, shopping, nightlife, Doo-Wop mid-century architecture and art, and more.
Everyone who fills out the entry form on the WildwoodsNJ.com contest website is eligible to win. No purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries will invalidate all of your entries and you will not be eligible for the contest. Winners for the fall drawing will be notified on October 24, 2025, for the fall drawing and can be used for the 2026 Summer season. Prizes must be claimed via email or phone within 30 days of the contest drawing or the winner will forfeit the prize. Prizes are subject to change without notice.
