The Wildwoods, NJ – April 09, 2026 – Morey’s Piers and Waterparks are celebrating another season of fun in the Wildwoods with their opening day celebrations Friday, May 1 through Sunday, May 3! Morey’s Piers have been a staple on the Wildwoods Boardwalk for decades and are celebrating the exciting start of another summer season. Morey’s Piers, located on Schellenger Avenue and the Boardwalk, overlook the spacious Wildwoods’ beaches and offer thrills and excitement for all ages, as well as the Wildwoods’ only waterparks. Operating hours are subject to change and based on weather, staffing, and other considerations.
Morey’s Piers and Waterparks, which opened in 1969, celebrates fifty-seven years on the Wildwoods’ Boardwalk this year, and welcomes guests to celebrate the start of the new season with a weekend of thrills and family memories during their opening weekend.
Morey’s Piers and Waterparks are also home to numerous flagship events throughout the season, bringing together the Wildwoods community and visitors alike. This year, events at Morey’s Piers include Morey’s Beach Jam, on May 29-31, youth sporting events like Cape Express Beach Blast Soccer on June 27-28, and Battle on the Beach Flag Football Tournament on July 11-12, as well as Morey’s Boardwalk Bier Run on September 19, and much more!
The Wildwoods’ Boardwalk has been home to Morey’s Piers and Waterparks for nearly six decades, and the synergy between the award-winning Boardwalk and Piers has created a family-friendly environment that has brought Wildwoods visitors back for generations.
The opening of Morey’s Piers and Waterparks comes after the dedicated refurbishments of The Giant Wheel, the icon that has helped define the Wildwoods’ skyline for years. The Giant Wheel was deconstructed over the winter months for refurbishments and is expected to be fully operational by Memorial Day Weekend.
The Wildwoods’ Boardwalk is home to the piers and waterparks and has been an unrivaled shore destination for families for decades.
