The Wildwoods, NJ – June 26, 2026 – The Wildwoods concluded the 103rd Annual National Marbles Tournament, celebrating the crowning of the new King and Queen of Marbles.

Champion marble shooters from across the country gathered in the Wildwoods to compete in the 103rd Annual National Marbles Tournament from June 22 through June 25, all vying for the title of “King” and “Queen” of Marbles.

After the four days of competition, Marbles Tournament Champions Cadence Garcia, of team Philadelphia PA., and Dorian Marlowe, of team Allegheny Co., PA were crowned Marbles Queen and Marbles King after winning all the marbles at the 103rd National Marbles Tournament in Ringer Stadium on the Wildwoods beaches. The champions congratulated each other for their hard fought wins with a friendly handshake.

The Wildwood Marbles Tournament, which took place at the renowned Ringer Stadium on the Wildwood Avenue Beach, just off the Wildwoods Boardwalk, is a true slice of Americana founded in 1922, featuring four days of thrilling matches, showcasing the skills and strategies of some of the nation’s most talented marble players. The tournament has long been cherished as a testament to the enduring nature of friendly competition and the artistry of the game of marbles. Over the past century, the tournament has brought together players from all over the country, fostering camaraderie, sportsmanship, and a deep appreciation for the game’s rich history.

The “Mibsters” – male and female marble players ages 8-14 – qualified for the competition by winning local tournaments throughout the United States. They vied for national honors, college scholarships, and an array of other prizes and awards during the annual tournament.

The marbles game played during the tournament, ‘Ringer,’ begins by placing 13 marbles in the form of an “X” in a 10-foot circle, with players then alternating shots to knock marbles out of the ring using a “shooter”, a slightly oversized marble. The winner is the individual who is first to shoot seven marbles out of the ring.

The tournament will return for its 104th year in 2027 where a new King and Queen will be crowned.
