Only Event on the Jersey Cape Selected by the America250 United States Semiquincentennial Commission
North Wildwood, N.J. – July 1, 2026- The City of North Wildwood is proud to announce that Stars, Stripes & Anglesea Nights has been officially recognized by the America250 United States Semiquincentennial Commission as an America’s Block Party event, making it the only event on the Jersey Cape to receive this prestigious designation.
The patriotic street festival will officially kick off the busy Fourth of July holiday weekend on Thursday, July 2, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., transforming Olde New Jersey Avenue in North Wildwood’s vibrant Anglesea Entertainment District into a celebration of American pride, community, and tradition.
As one of the nation’s officially recognized America’s Block Party events, Stars, Stripes & Anglesea Nights joins a select group of celebrations across the country commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Festival attendees will enjoy an evening packed with family-friendly entertainment, including some of the region’s top food trucks serving a wide variety of delicious cuisine, unique artisan and specialty shopping vendors, live music, street performers, and a special patriotic performance by the Philly Fife and Drum Company, bringing the sights and sounds of America’s Revolutionary era to life.
“The City of North Wildwood is excited to kick off a special weekend filled with festivities, patriotism, and excitement as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary,” said Mayor Salvatore Zampirri. “The America250 Stars, Stripes, and Anglesea Nights Patriotic Street Festival is the perfect way to begin this historic celebration, bringing together residents and visitors to honor our nation’s past while creating new memories with family and friends.”
The event offers families, residents, and visitors an opportunity to celebrate America’s rich heritage in a festive outdoor setting while enjoying the charm of North Wildwood’s historic Anglesea neighborhood. From delicious food and unique shopping to patriotic entertainment and community spirit, Stars, Stripes & Anglesea Nights promises an unforgettable evening for all ages.
The festival is produced by Sea Dog Events in partnership with the City of North Wildwood and the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA).
Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy all the festivities as North Wildwood launches one of the busiest and most patriotic weekends of the summer season.
