A record number of more than 50 babies, ages 24 months and younger, to participate in a competition that showcases their crawling and waddling skills
The Wildwoods, NJ – July 29, 2024 – The 2024 Annual Wildwoods Loves Waddler’s Baby Waddle Contest on Tuesday, July 30, promises to be the most exciting and competitive yet, as a record number of waddlers and crawlers have already been pre-registered for the event.
The event has two categories – The Crawl and The Waddle, where participants are placed in the center of a colorful, 45-foot-diameter circle and encouraged by their parents to crawl or waddle to the edge. The first in each category to crawl or waddle outside of the circle will be declared the winner and will receive a family of four pack to Morey’s Amusement Piers and Water Parks.
What: The Annual Wildwoods Loves Waddler’s Baby Waddle Contest.
Who: A record number of speed-crawling babies 15 months and younger, and waddling toddlers 24 months and younger, with their parents’ encouragement, are expected to compete.
When: Tuesday, July 30 at 9:30 a.m.
Where: The Wildwoods Convention Center, 4501 Boardwalk.
Registration: The walk-up registration begins at 9 a.m. with waddle starting at 9:30 a.m.
This annual tradition serves a fun prequel event to the annual Wildwoods Baby Parade taking place on Wednesday, July 31 along the Wildwoods Boardwalk.
