Wildwood, NJ — Memorial Day Weekend in Downtown Wildwood will once again bring together shopping, fitness, food, and community as two popular seasonal programs return to Byrne Plaza.
The Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market opens its 13th season on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and will continue every Saturday through Labor Day Weekend. Visitors can explore more than 80 vendors each week featuring fresh farm produce, baked goods, specialty foods, breakfast sandwiches, hot and cold beverages, snacks, craft beer and spirits, wine, and over 30 artisans selling handmade and original items.
The market is located at 3400 and 3501 Pacific Avenue, at Byrne Plaza and the original Farmers Market lot, creating a vibrant outdoor shopping experience in the heart of Downtown Wildwood.
As part of the Memorial Day Weekend festivities, Downtown Wildwood BID and Shore Fitness will also host free fitness classes on Friday, May 22, introducing the upcoming “Fitness in the Plaza” summer series.
The free fitness class preview schedule includes:
- Pilates at 8:00 a.m.
- Bootcamp at 9:00 a.m.
The full Fitness in the Plaza season runs June 15 through August 28, 2026, with classes held at 8:00 a.m. on weekdays. Pilates classes will be offered Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while Bootcamp takes place Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes are $10 per session.
Both programs are designed to bring residents and visitors together while promoting wellness, supporting local businesses, and creating an active downtown atmosphere throughout the summer season.
