America250 – Reenactment of Battle of Turtle Gut Inlet

Sunday, June 28, 2026. Sunset Lake near New Jersey and Louisville avenues. Reenactor regiments from across the region stage the Battle of Turtle Gut Inlet, the only Revolutionary War battle fought in Cape May County, on the shores and in the waters of Sunset Lake, two 30-minute performances at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 pm. Free for spectators. Event supported by Cape May County Land of the Free, Celebration 250th grant program.
