Wildwood, NJ — April 13, 2026 — The Wildwood Business Improvement District (WBID) is pleased to announce the addition of a new public parking lot in the heart of Downtown Wildwood, providing approximately 70 new parking spaces to better serve visitors, shoppers, and diners. The new ParkMobile parking area will be located at the corner of Pacific Avenue and Schellenger Avenue, on the site currently used for the seasonal Farmers Market. This strategic addition is part of WBID’s ongoing efforts to improve accessibility and enhance the overall visitor experience in the Downtown Wildwood shopping and dining district. Developed in conjunction with Crest Savings Bank, the lot will support increased foot traffic to local businesses along Pacific Avenue, especially during the busy summer season. The location remains home to the popular weekly Farmers Market, which will continue to operate on Saturday mornings from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.
“Expanding parking in our downtown is an important step in supporting our local business community and making Wildwood more welcoming for residents and visitors alike,” said John Donio, President of the WBID Board of Directors. “These additional spaces will help ease congestion and improve access to everything our downtown has to offer.” WBID Board Members anticipate the new parking lot will be available for public use in time for the upcoming summer season.
