The Wildwoods, NJ – August 15, 2025 – The Mummers return to the Wildwoods to celebrate New Year’s in North Wildwood Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6, 2025.
The weekend kicks off at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 5 with a “STRUT” Dance Contest on Olde New Jersey Avenue. Watch as the captains square off and show their skills/talents while the Mummers Association plays your favorite music.
Over a dozen String Bands including the top bands from the 2025 New Year’s Day Parade in Philadelphia, PA will be featured as the Mummers Parade steps off on Saturday, September 6 at 5 p.m. from Olde New Jersey Avenue in North Wildwood, beginning at 2nd Street and concluding at Spruce Avenue. Fox 29 News team personality Bob Kelly will return to emcee the event for his fifth year.
String bands will perform in a hometown atmosphere allowing spectators to get up-close views of the beautiful costumes and intricate dance steps these eccentric performers display.
Best of all, the parade is FREE to attend, so come on out and strut your stuff at the New Year’s in North Wildwood event with entertainment the whole family will enjoy!
