The Wildwoods, NJ – September 17, 2025 – Run the Crest is a run and festival filled with fitness and fun in Centennial Park in Wildwood Crest on Friday, October 3, and Saturday, October 4, 2025, featuring merchandise and craft vendors, food trucks, live music, and family-friendly activities on Saturday October 3.
The weekend features a variety of races for all levels of runners seeking the best of what Wildwood Crest has to offer. Runners will pass bayside lakes, causeways, fishing ports, wildlife preserves, ocean views, and bike paths for a one-of-a-kind experience. Post-race festivities include merchandise vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, and family fun in Centennial Park, located at E. Fern Road and Ocean Avenue in Wildwood Crest. All races will begin and end at Centennial Park.
A 5K race kicks off the running festival on Friday at 5:30 p.m. The fun continues on Saturday with the Half Marathon at 7:30 a.m., and the 10K starting at 8:30 a.m. For younger participants, the Crest Kids Fun Run provides an opportunity for children aged 10 and under to join in the excitement by running the perimeter of the Centennial Park Festival grounds.
Participants are asked to register online for the race at www.RunSignUp.com/RunTheCrest. Participants can also engage in friendly team competitions across various categories, with awards for the fastest teams and the largest team participation.
Wildwood Crest and JLD Events are partnering with Amanda’s Wish Foundation as the event’s charity. Amanda’s Wish is a non-profit organization in memory of Amanda Holland, a kind, caring, and passionate preschool teacher from Cape May Tech. The organization’s mission is to help children’s programs, camp activities, youth scholarships, and to keep Amanda’s memory going in today’s youth.
