The Wildwoods, NJ – May 8, 2026 – The Annual Run to Remember (Patrick Corcoran 5K Memorial Day Run) will be held on May 24, 2026, in North Wildwood to benefit veterans and those that have lost loved ones in service to their country.
According to organizers, the annual 3.1 mile walk and run is meant to honor Patrick Corcoran and the 74 sailors of the USS Frank E. Evans, who died in 1969 during the War Games in the South China Sea.
Pre-registration fees will be $30, day of race $35. Registration and check-in opens at 7:30 a.m. at the 15th Street Lifeguard Station in North Wildwood, NJ. The race starts at 8:30 a.m. Along with the 5k run, there will be a 1-mile walk. All proceeds from this event will be donated to veterans.
