National Lighthouse Day

You are invited to join in celebrating National Lighthouse Day on August 7th, 2026. This day will mark the 237th anniversary of the signing of the 1789 Lighthouse Act.

The festivities begin at 9 a.m. until noon and include the opening of the Lantern Room at the top of the lighthouse for visitors and interactive activities with the North Wildwood Beach Patrol, North Wildwood Fire Department, and the North Wildwood Police Department. There will be a free raffle with first prize being the limited edition North Wildwood 250th year centennial flag and also a giveaway as supplies last.
