May 19, 1 p.m. Join Bill Elwell, adjunct professor of history at Monmouth University and a lifelong Jersey Shore resident, for a free presentation at the George Boyer Museum, 3907 Pacific Ave, Wildwood NJ.  Railroads were the defining factor in creating and shaping the development of the Shore as a center for everything from day trips to whole summer vacations.
