Kona Surf Company founded in 1969 by New Jersey Surfing Hall of Fame Legend Mike Sciarra. Mike began shaping surfboards on the North Shore of Hawaii in the late sixties during the Shortboard Revolution then took his craft to Southern New Jersey. Kona Surf Company has been shaping surfboards for 50 years in Wildwood, New Jersey. All of our Kona brand surfing inspired clothing is screenprinted in house using ecofriendly and earth conscious materials. All of our surfboards are shaped in house by our CNC cutter then hand finished and glassed on location. Any modification to our stock surfboards can be special ordered or we can cut and finish one of your own designs.
