The Fallen Hero Plunge

The Annual Fallen Hero Plunge takes place at 11 a.m. at the inlet beach in North Wildwood. The post party will take place at Keenan’s Irish Pub and sponsoring establishments. Tournament of Bands Indoor Championships

Taking place at the Wildwoods Convention Center and Middle Township High School, the Atlantic Coast Championships feature 225 competitive scholastic and independent units from nine states in the mid-Atlantic region, with performers of all ages as they compete in color guard, percussion ensemble, dance team, twirling, jazz band, and marching. Competition times are Thursday, 9 a.m. – 11 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. – 11p.m.; and Sunday 9 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. Times are subject to change. Red Bull Beach Scramble brings SxS racing back to the beaches of Wildwood! Hosted between the world -famous Morey’s Piers, racers will face a challenging and fast sand course featuring a mix of natural and manmade features. The International Kite Festival takes place on the beach at Rio Grande Avenue, and inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Events begin on Friday at noon with the Unlocking of the Ocean media event outside of the Wildwoods Convention Center, with kites flying overhead. Festivities following the Unlocking of the Ocean include a Kite Sales Tent, a Friday Night Social via the local kite club, and the 9 p.m. Illuminated Night Kite Fly. Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market Season Kick-Off

The Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market is THE place to be every Saturday morning, from Memorial Day to Labor Day Weekend. Each week 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. you will find over 70 vendors offering fresh farm goods including produce, plants, cut flowers and honey. Our bakers bring all kinds of home baked goods, including gluten free items; and there are lots of specialty foods and beverages too, like pickles, guacamole, meals to go, wine, beer, craft spirits, sandwiches, as well as hot and cold drinks. Crafters offer handmade soaps, candles, jewelry, personalized items, home goods, clothing, gifts, signs, dog treats and apparel, and so much more! With more than 100 vendors on our roster, you will find at least 70 each week, spread across both sides of Pacific Avenue in Byrne Plaza, at Oak Avenue, and in  original Farmers Market Lot at Schellenger Avenue. Be sure to stop by the DOOWW information booth to pick up your free DOOWW Magnet, a Byrne Plaza Schedule of Events, and information about all the great things happening in Downtown Wildwood!
